Take a step back in time with one of our famous themed ‘Living History’ days!
Whether you wish to meet a ‘Celtic Chief’ in his round house or to learn how to march with a Roman soldier, we have the day for you packed with activities!
We cover all the periods of the ‘Invaders & Settlers’, Neolithic through to the Dark ages.
The ‘Stone Age to the Celts’ day is currently very popular as fits neatly into the KS2 curriculum.
‘Wilderness Day’ has Shelter building, Fire Lighting, Bushcraft cooking, Wilderness games, Orienteering & Problem solving with perhaps lunch around the campfire.
‘Back to Nature Day’ brings in Nature Walks, Pond dipping, ‘Meet the Animals’, Mini Beasts, Nature games, River studies and perhaps a picnic in the Wildflower Meadow.
‘Multi Activity’ days,
Our varied multi activity days are designed not only to challenge the children but also to help them bond and work together. The days are made up with a mix of activities to suit each individual groups requirements.
We are more than happy to design a bespoke day just for your group, this way we can ensure the day attains your learning objectives. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
We can also provide a variety of lunch options including picnics and themed meals!
We have full disabled facilities for visiting groups with plenty of indoor space if the weather turns bad and plenty of hot chocolate to keep you warm in the winter months.
